Ordering and Payment

We aim to process orders within 2-3 days. However, where specified some of our items are made to order and may require up to 4 weeks subject to availability of stock. In the event of an item being out of stock we will contact you immediately to give you the option of an alternative delivery date or product. When ordering we would ask you to provide us with a contact telephone number. This will help us should we have any questions relating to your order and also so that we can provide it to our courier service who will be delivering your parcel.

We make every effort to ensure that the goods you order are as seen on our web site. However, some items made to order may vary slightly and we reserve the right to add an alternative material of equal quality.

All payments made via the internet are processed by Paypal. This offers security and protection.

Should you prefer you can choose to pay by for your goods by cheque. If you choose this option at the Checkout you will receive a confirmation email upon placing your order, and updates when we receive your cheque and despatch your goods. Please make cheques payable to Astounding Surroundings and send to:

Please write your cheque guarantee number and order number (found in the confirmation email) on the back of the cheque - your goods will be despatched as soon as your payment has cleared.

Deliveries

All deliveries will require a signature. When your delivery arrives we ask that you ensure that the item received is not damaged in any way. If the item received is damaged in any way you will need to note the delivery note accordingly so that we can process a claim. If you discover that the item is damaged after signing for the goods without noting the delivery note we regret that we cannot offer a refund.

When ordering your goods please specify an address where someone will be to in to take receipt of the delivery. As stated above when ordering we would ask you to provide us with a contact telephone number so that we can provide our courier service with the details should they need to contact you when delivering your parcel. In most cases we can arrange to deliver items directly to your place of work if this is more convenient for you. If the courier or mail service we choose are unable to deliver a charge may be incurred for re-delivery.

Cancellation of order

Cancellation of orders received before dispatch will be refunded in full within 31 days.

Returns

If you are not entirely satisfied with your goods you may return them to us within 14 days from the date of purchase. Providing all goods are returned to us in perfect condition and within all packaging provided we will refund the purchase price of the goods in full which we aim to do as soon as we have checked and received your return item. We regret that we cannot refund the cost of the delivery, return postage or merchant fees.

As many of our items are delicate we would ask you to ensure that all items are returned securely packaged. We regret that we will be unable to offer refunds on any items broken in transit from you to us. You will need to obtain a proof of posting as we are unable to accept responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit.

If you wish to return one of our trees or heavier parcels we would ask that you contact us direct so that we can arrange for the item to be collected. Again we regret that we cannot refund the delivery, return of postage or merchant fees.

Liability

Astounding Surroundings cannot be held responsible for any damage due to negligence or intent. All risk in the goods passes to the purchaser upon delivery.

Many of our products are not suitable for children under the age of 3 years.

Candles when lit should never be left unattended and should not come into contact with flammable materials.
