Wedding Shop Shropshire take data security very seriously, which is why we prefer not to handle any credit card details ourselves but instead use the payment service providers Sage Pay (the new name for Protx) and PayPal for online credit card handling as they provide the high level of security that we believe you require.

Once you have added your products to the basket and clicked 'Checkout' you will need to create an account. On our payment page you will be given the option of paying by using the Sage Pay Secure Server, the PayPal secure server, or select the option of paying by cheque.

Transaction Security

All transaction information passed between Wedding Shop Shropshire and the Sage Pay VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Sage Pay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Encryption and Data Storage

Once on the Sage Pay system, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data we hold is extremely secure and we are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode

If you pay by Visa or Mastercard, you are taken to the "Verified by Visa" or "MasterCard SecureCode" page, after confirming your order.

Visa and Mastercard now offer greater security when buying online with Verified by Visa and Mastercard Secure Code.

If you haven't done so already, you will be able to register your card (if supported for this service) with a password. Any future purchases online will then require this password. This gives you an additional layer of security because if someone obtains your card details they will not be able to make purchases with it as they will not have access to your password.

Paying by Paypal

Wedding Shop Shropshire utilise PayPal as a secure payment processor. You do not require a PayPal account for transactions up to £500. Simply choose the "Don't have a PayPal Account" option when you are re-directed to the PayPal website after placing your order.

Paying by Cheque

We are happy to accept orders where you send us a cheque prior to despatch of the goods.

Please write your cheque guarantee number and order number (found in the confirmation email) on the back of the cheque, made payable to Astounding Surroundings and send to:

The order process is as follows:

1). We will confirm your order by email, with the status "Pending".
2). Upon receipt of your cheque we will update the status to "Confirmed" and inform you by email of the change of order status.
3). When your cheque clears we will despatch your goods. You will be notified by email of the change of status to "Shipped" by email when we despatch the order.

Deliveries

When ordering your goods please specify an address where someone will be to in to sign for your delivery. Please provide us with a contact telephone number so that we can provide our courier service with the details should they need to contact you when delivering your parcel. In most cases we can arrange to deliver items directly to your place of work if this is more convenient for you. If the courier or mail service we choose are unable to deliver a charge may be incurred for re-delivery.

Please note that all courier deliveries require a signature upon arrival.  Should you require next day delivery for any items or orders placed please telephone us to ensure that this is possible before placing your order.

When your delivery arrives we ask that you ensure that the item received is not damaged in any way. If the item received is damaged in any way you will need to note the delivery note accordingly so that we can process a claim. If you discover that the item is damaged after signing for the goods without noting the delivery note we regret that we cannot offer a refund.
